Ever since MCC began Julie Briggs has been introducing the community’s children to Jesus and showing them what it looks and feels like to follow him. She leads worship for children age three through eight on Sunday mornings during the second half of the adults’ service. “I’ve never once wanted to get out of it,” Julie says. “When I’m with the kids I see the story of how God works, and I grow closer to God. It’s incredible to see the youngest ones, who rely completely on other people for all their needs, grow into children who want to help and serve.” Julie also prepares other adult volunteers who teach our children.
